Our kitchen, a training site
Moisson Estrie’s food transformation kitchen is an important training and social involvement site. Each week, individuals who are involved in social and labour force integration projects, volunteers, school groups, and local business teams participate in workshops where they learn more not only about the processing and preservation of foods, but also about minimizing waste.

Moisson Estrie is aware of the food waste issue. Thanks to IMMEX Société Immobilière, our team is equipped with a kitchen where we can transform foods that are nearing their best by dates into delicious ready-made dishes to be donated directly or distributed through the organizations that we serve.

Lunch is served at Moisson Estrie
To maximize the use of our kitchen,* our facilities include an upscale cafeteria known as La Moissonnée. The cafeteria opened to the public earlier this year, and serves full lunches that rival those offered in the best restaurants, from Monday to Friday.
La Moissonnée also hosts a fundraising brunch known as Brunch-don on the last Sunday of the month. This friendly family event is an excellent way for you to support Moisson Estrie’s mission while enjoying a great meal. Our brunch has become a popular monthly gathering, and is always sold out. Guests also get to visit our facility and warehouse, and learn more about the scope of our work.
Our team is brimming with ideas to maximize the potential of La Moissonnée, and organizes original and distinctive fundraising activities.
