Moisson Estrie is a socio-economic organization dedicated to reducing food waste and redistributing food to people experiencing a period of economic vulnerability, through direct food assistance or through partner organizations.

Through its involvement in the educational, business, cultural and political spheres, Moisson Estrie builds relationships with various stakeholders in the region with the goal of meeting the community's food needs.
Since its creation, Moisson Estrie has developed a variety of solid and long-lasting partnerships. Thanks to various initiatives and partnerships, we are now able to collect food from more than 75 suppliers.
Moisson Estrie offers a food assistance service to economically vulnerable populations in Sherbrooke while redistributing food to more than 71 partner organizations in Estrie





Environmental protection and community well-being are at the heart of Moisson Estrie's values and mission. To integrate these issues into our internal management, we began an eco-responsible business practice approach in 2020.


As an Elite Plus level member of Recyc-Québec, 98% of our materials are repurposed in a sustainble manner.

Our food recovery efforts help prevent more than 2 500 tonnes of CO₂ from reaching the landfill.

A health and safety committee ensures the well-being and safety of all people who work here (both employees and volunteers).
