We sow

Through its involvement in the academic, business, cultural and political sectors, Moisson Estrie builds relationships with various stakeholders in the region with the aim of meeting the food needs of its community.

We harvest

Since its creation, Moisson Estrie has developed various partnerships that have endured over time. Thanks to various initiatives and agreements, we can now collect food from more than

75 suppliers.

We redistribute

Moisson Estrie offers a food assistance service to the economically vulnerable population of Sherbrooke while redistributing food to more than

65 organizations in Estrie.

Regional redistribution

Thanks to our partners and our network of accredited organizations, we cover 100% of Estrie's territory. These organizations include food banks, community kitchens, soup kitchens, housing services and therapy centers, youth centers, and many more.

Food assistance

At Moisson Estrie, those receiving support have the opportunity to choose the food items that will make up their basket during their visit to the community grocery store. Bonuses are also offered in various forms to provide food at a lower cost.

Kitchen

Every week, hundreds of servings are prepared by employees and volunteers to give a second life to the food we receive. The servings are then redistributed to those in need and used as a fundraising tool.

LA MOISSONNÉE

Our restaurant, open to all from Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., allows us to finance our cooking activities and thus reduce food waste. It also provides meal to our community grocery store.
