Since 1998, Moisson Estrie has been offering food assistance services by appointment to people experiencing food insecurity. Each request is assessed during a meeting to determine the individual's or family's eligibility for food assistance.
Depending on a person's situation, the frequency and limit of assistance will be established and explained
During each visit, individuals meet with a staff member to assess changes in their situation, and referrals are provided to other organizations to offer comprehensive support.
We hope that the experience in our offices will be a positive one since users are often going throuh difficult times.
With the help of our volunteers, users create their own food assistance. They can choose the products they need, while respecting certain rules regarding quantities and varieties.
In addition, certain fresh basic products (milk, bread, eggs, etc.) are offered at reduced prices.
